Workplace Aggression: Best Practices to Prevent, Identify, and Safely Mitigate Aggressive Behavior and Violence
June 7, 2019 | Wilsonville, OR
This course will focus on the general principles to prevent, identify, mitigate, and manage violence, aggression, and bullying in the workplace. The intent is to discuss job and industry risk factors of workplace aggression, and to provide guidance for workplaces. Participants will be able to demonstrate an ability to identify the risk factors associated with workplace aggression and learn about available resources supportive of safe practices. Although all industries and job types will benefit from the information provided in this symposium, case studies and examples will directly apply to health care, long term care, social services, education and schools, and isolated workers.
