The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of healthcare providers and public health professionals so they may better understand, diagnose, treat and manage injuries and illnesses as a result of occupational and environmental exposures of workers and worker populations.
This lecture will focus on clinical aspects and strategies for evaluating patients who present with shoulder, upper back, and neck pain. The role of imaging in the diagnostic evaluation of neck and shoulder pain, and common-sense treatment options, will be discussed.
